Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and Akriti Agarwal have decided to end their engagement months after making their relationship public. Confirming the news through a post on Instagram, Akriti said that they have both mutually decided to move on in their separate ways.
The news comes just a few months after Prithvi and Akriti announced their engagement in March 2026. Akriti said that their different goals, responsibilities and current circumstances have made them realise that their future paths are different. Akriti Agarwal did not share the exact reason behind their separation but confirmed that she and Prithvi Shaw called off their engagement. She has maintained that the decision was mutual and stated that while they are no longer in a relationship, there is still love and care between them.
