AUS vs Bangladesh: 1st ODI Highlights | 16:36
Josh Higgins from Fox SportsOctober 11th, 2026 9:28 pm

Georgia Voll has smashed an unbeaten century as Australia continued their dominance over Bangladesh with a nine-wicket victory in the second day/night ODI.

The Australians secured the series with one match remaining after chasing down Bangladesh’s total of 6/220 in just 28.1 overs.

Voll was the star of the show, but there was also history made for Bangladesh despite the defeat.

Megan Schutt was the pick of the Australian bowlers, finishing with figures of 4/36 from her 10 overs, while Kim Garth was the only other wicket-taker with 1/35.

But for Bangladesh, Sobhana Mostary made history at the crease.

Mostary produced the highest individual score in <a href="https://cricket.international/where-to-watch-2nd-odi-australia-women-vs-bangladesh-women-live-streaming-details/" title="Where to Watch 2nd ODI – Australia Women vs Bangladesh Women? Live Streaming Details”>Bangladesh women’s ODI history, smashing 118 runs from 134 balls.

Sobhana Mostary made history for Bangladesh with a record-breaking 118 from 134 balls, but it wasn’t enough to stop Australia.

Captain Nigar Sultana also played an important role, finishing unbeaten on 74 from 114 deliveries, with the pair the only Bangladesh batters to reach double figures.

But the Australians were simply too strong with the bat.

Voll opened the innings and didn’t look back, smashing an unbeaten 131 from just 97 balls, including 19 boundaries.

Phoebe Litchfield continued her strong form with 70 runs from 51 balls before being dismissed in the 20th over.

Ellyse Perry then joined Voll at the crease, finishing unbeaten on 19 from 22 balls as Australia reached 1/221 to take a 2-0 series lead.

Voll was named player of the match for her incredible innings and revealed she had taken a similar approach to the opening game of the series.

“I felt like I went out there and was batting how I wanted to bat the other day [first game] and was obviously unfortunate to get out the way I did,” Voll said.

“But it was just a matter of going back today and starting the exact same way. I love batting out there, so having another nice partnership at the top helped get our team off to a good start with some simple things.”

Georgia Voll celebrates her century after producing a dominant performance against Bangladesh.

The Australian opener also spoke about the power in her game and how she approaches her innings.

“I think I base my game off a power game, but I go through the gears a little bit,” Voll said.

“I look to hit the ball hard and straight early, and then open up the ground a little bit.

“I try to take a little bit of the risk out early and then let my innings play out and take it on once I’m in.”

Australian captain Tahlia McGrath was also full of praise for her side’s performance, particularly with the ball.

“Our openers with the ball were outstanding. Both the way they moved for a bit of extra bounce was fantastic,” McGrath said.

The third and final ODI will take place on Wednesday, with Australia looking to complete a clean sweep of the series.
