Pakistan Nationwide Cricket Staff’s captain for the Checks, Babar Azam, is reportedly registering his name for the upcoming season of the ILT20 League. If the current studies are to be believed, Pakistan’s batting celebrity is ready to check his luck on the subsequent Worldwide League T20 (ILT20) public sale, the UAE’s only T20 franchise league.
The Worldwide League T20 (DP World ILT20) Season 5 is scheduled to run from November 21 to December 20, 2026, and can run till December 30, 2026. Matches in the league will probably be performed throughout UAE venues, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
Babar Azam is more likely to make his debut in Worldwide League T20 (ILT20)
Just like the previous editions, this time too, the league will probably be held between six franchises: Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriorz.
Ahead of the fifth season, the league has already attracted global attention, with Shoaib Akhtar and Brett Lee joining as brand ambassadors. If Babar Azam joins the tournament, then it may possibly prove useful in the development of the league.
Azam, who performed in a number of franchise leagues around the globe, including the Pakistan Tremendous League (PSL), Big Bash League (BBL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Lankan Premier League (LPL), and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), has never performed in the ILT20 League.
