Tournament History:
The Canada Super 60 League debuted in October 2025 as a pioneering women’s T10 competition, designed to accelerate the development of the women’s game in Canada. The inaugural edition featured a couple of teams: Toronto Sixers and Vancouver Thunderbirds in a three-match bilateral contest. Toronto Sixers emerged as the first champions after defeating their Vancouver-based rivals in a tightly contested final series. Toronto’s 2–1 series win showcased their ability to execute under pressure, setting a benchmark for clinical T10 cricket and establishing the tournament as a key fixture in the domestic women’s calendar.
Returning for its second edition in 2026, the league has retained its core structure with three teams while building on the momentum of its successful launch. The decision to host all matches at BC Place, a world-class arena, has been pivotal in creating a consistent, fan-friendly environment that highlights the speed and skill of T10 cricket. With Vancouver Warriors and Vancouver Anchors aiming to dethrone the defending Sixers, the 2026 edition promises heightened rivalry and sharper competition, further cementing the Canada Super 60’s role as a vital platform for showcasing women’s cricket in the region.
