Rohit Sharma pulls off stunning fielding effort to save four against West Indies
The moment came during Naman Dhir’s over when Amir Jangoo stepped out and attempted a big slog. However, he failed to time the ball properly and sent it high towards deep mid-wicket. And then fans got to see a brilliant fielding effort from Rohit Sharma.
The ball went high into the air, but there was no fielder stationed exactly under it at deep mid-wicket. Rohit quickly ran towards his right and reached the ball just in time. He then made a diving effort and flicked the ball into the field, and saved the ball from going for four.
Jangoo and his partner managed to take only one run from the shot, as they did not expect Rohit to stop the ball so quickly. Shubman Gill was mighty impressed with Rohit’s efforts.
