Perth Scorchers Re-Sign Freya Kemp for WBBL 12 After Impressive Debut Season

Perth Scorchers have confirmed the return of power hitter Freya Kemp for Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 12. The English international is back after making a strong impression in her debut season in orange. The 21-year-old brings power and international experience to Perth. Her return adds another exciting option as the Scorchers push for their second title.

Kemp has already established herself internationally, representing England in Women’s One Day International and T20 cricket. She has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting young players in world cricket. During the ECB Women’s One-Day Cup, she has been in roaring form, making 149 runs over three digs. Her performances add to the experience she brings to the Scorchers.

Kemp was also part of England’s squad that was defeated by Australia in the recent ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. She scored 44 not out from 28 balls in that match.
