The Afghan batter had no chance to react as the ball found its way through to the timber. Rasooli was out for a golden duck in the match on the very first ball as the Afghans lost their third wicket inside the powerplay, and they found themselves in trouble while chasing a target over 200 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah has been in excellent form in this series as he came back from injury after missing out in the Sri Lanka series and ahead of that in the last ODI against England. He surpassed the record of Zimbabwean pacer Richard Ngarava, who bowled 12, with the former now having 13 maidens beside his name in the shortest format of the game. Coming to the match, Afghanistan won the toss and opted to field first. The former went berserk in the match as he scored a hundred off 30 balls and smashed several records.
While chasing, Afghanistan had a decent start, but they are losing wickets as they are 7 wickets down inside 100 runs, and they are closing in for yet another series defeat against the Men in Blue side. They started well with 36/0, but as the first wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz fell, the wickets kept on tumbling, and now they are 82/7.
