The Women’s Andhra Premier League (WAPL) 2026 moves into its sixth match with Rayalaseema Xen Stars Women taking on Amaravati E Champions Women at the ACA Stadium, Mangalagiri, on Monday, September 21, 2026. The evening contest is scheduled to get underway at 5:30 PM IST. Both teams have already opened their accounts with a win, so this meeting brings together two sides that have started the competition on a positive note. Another victory here would give one of them a chance to move further ahead as the league continues.

There is very little separating the teams on the points table at the moment. Rayalaseema Xen Stars Women sit first with 2 points and a net run rate of +1.057, while Amaravati E Champions Women are second with 2 points and a net run rate of +0.850. Rayalaseema made 120 runs in their first game, whereas Amaravati finished on 163 runs in their opening match. Both teams know what it feels like to win already, and they will now meet with the chance to add another two points to their tally.

Squads:

Rayalaseema Xen Stars Women’s Cricket Team

Vemulapati Setu Sai, Ellutla Padmaja, Greeshma Saini Reddy, N Sree Charani (C), Kokkiligadda Dhathri, Vasavi Pavani, Bareddy Anusha, Sajja Lakshmi, Avula Sireesha, Malakonda Poojitha, Kolathur Subhasri, Hema Roshini, Garapati Likitha, Meghana Sri, Muni Neethisha, Allugunti Hansi Reddy, Shanmukha Priya, G Varsha, Harshita Gowda, Dara Chaitra.

Amaravati E Champions Women’s Cricket Team

Shabnam Shakil, Neeragattu Anusha, Kandregula Devika, Katragadda Deeksha (WK), Tarini Joshi, Parasa Lakshmi, Katta Mahanthi Sree, K Hamsa, Ankam Vishnu Priya, Hema Sai Ramya, Karri Sai Poojitha, Nakka Sana, Oruganti Sahithi Sri, Bogiya Sai Deepthy, Boddupalli Tanishqa, Thalluri Mallika, M Sahasra Reddy, M Ruksar Tabasum, S Lakshmi Prasarmi

Players to watch out:

Ellutla Padmaja

Ellutla Padmaja gave Rayalaseema a quick contribution in their opening game against Godavari Golden Eagles Women. She scored 30 runs from 18 balls, providing useful runs in a short period of time. Her contribution did not stop with the bat, as she also <a href="https://cricket.international/stephen-fleming-rules-out-ben-stokes-ashes-return/” title=”Stephen Fleming rules out Ben Stokes’ Ashes return”>returned figures of 2/17 with the ball. That gave Rayalaseema an extra option during their first outing. Another such performance could add balance to the team when they face Amaravati.

Bareddy Anusha

Bareddy Anusha had a role in both departments during Rayalaseema’s first match. She made 13 runs off 12 balls against Godavari Golden Eagles Women before making a bigger contribution with her bowling. Anusha finished with 3/19, picking up three wickets in the game. Those figures make her one of the bowling options Rayalaseema can rely on during the contest. She will now have another opportunity to trouble the Amaravati batting line-up.

Parasa Lakshmi

Amaravati E Champions Women will once again have plenty of attention on Parasa Lakshmi after her outstanding first outing. She struck 102 runs off 74 balls against Vizag Fire Birds Women, producing the highest score among the team’s batting performances so far. Her innings helped Amaravati put 163 runs on the board in their opening match. Rayalaseema will now have to deal with a batter who has already shown that she can stay at the crease and build a big innings. Lakshmi will be looking to carry that confidence into this game.

Kandregula Devika

Kandregula Devika also had a useful outing in Amaravati’s first match against Vizag Fire Birds Women. She contributed 6 runs from 5 balls with the bat and then produced an effective spell with the ball. Devika took 2 wickets for 19 runs, giving Amaravati important breakthroughs during the game. Her contribution in both areas adds another option to the team’s combination. She will be looking for another steady performance when Amaravati take on Rayalaseema.

Pitch:

The ACA International Cricket Stadium, Mangalagiri has produced an average first-innings score of around 162 runs. The average run rate at the venue is 6.98, while the boundary percentage stands at 13.1%. The dot-ball percentage is 35.9%, and an average of 11.1 wickets fall per match. Spinners and disciplined seamers may get good support if they bowl with control and use the slower nature of the pitch well.

Weather:

At the 5:30 PM IST start, Mangalagiri is expected to have cloudy conditions around the ACA Stadium. The temperature during the match window should remain around the low 30s°C, making it warmer than a typical evening. The forecast indicates a 20% chance of precipitation at 5 PM and 15% at 6 PM. The teams can therefore expect a cloudy evening, with rain remaining something to keep an eye on.

Fantasy Playing XI:

Ellutla Padmaja, Bareddy Anusha, Shree Charani, Vemulapati Setu Sai, Sajja Lakshmi, Parasa Lakshmi, Kandregula Devika, Shabnam Shakil, Katragadda Deeksha, Bogiya Sai Deepthy, K Hamsa
