India have already locked up the Zimbabwe ODI series lead after back-to-back dominant performances on the BCA Stadium in Kotambi.
The hosts kicked off the leg by chasing down 198 with 9 wickets in hand, led by an unbeaten debut century from Pratika Rawal (100*) and a pointy four-wicket effort by N Sree Charani (4/23). They backed that up in the second match by piling up 328/6 behind Harmanpreet Kaur’s authoritative 126 and Deepti Sharma’s all-round display, finally bowling Zimbabwe out for 207 to safe a 121-run win together with crucial ICC Girls’s Championship points.
With the trophy secure in hand, the crew administration can use this closing fixture to test depth and refine mixtures, although retaining the tempo high remains top precedence for the hosts as they target a 3-0 sweep.
For Zimbabwe, the series finale is a chance to put collectively a complete performance and finish a demanding tour on a positive word. Beloved Biza has been a gentle standout throughout each matches, contributing beneficial runs and wickets, whereas the highest order showed improved resolve in the course of the second ODI despite the steep chase.
To push India on this sport, the visitors will want their top order to turn starts into huge, match-defining scores whereas sustaining tighter traces with the ball to manage the scoring rate in the center overs.
